SheenRu Yong and Spencer Agoston are a Honolulu-based dancer-choreographer and sculptor-scenographer team. Their curiosity in environments—built or found—and how they codify movement and memory has brought them to stage visual and kinesthetic experiences in previously unframed spaces. Dance has become not about moving on a stage, but about being moved by the environment, by its natural and human-made histories.
